Plot[]
The episode starts with Roxie and Gomez playing a shell game with the street kids in Carnival City. It then shows craw observing them with the Triple Sphere, as he wonders how the keep swapping the candy out for rocks. This gives Tenoroc an idea to get rid of Matt Hatter. He summons Flipster the Leprechaun, and orders him to swap Matt for something beyond the Multiverse. However, Flipster explains that his powers don't exactly work that way, saying that when he flips his chaos coin, anything could happen and he can't predict what Hatter will swap with. Tenoroc the threatens him, telling him to do as he is told or suffer Tenoroc's wrath, making him quickly agree. Flipster then starts causing chaos in the Sea of Sands, The Enchanted Forest, and Carnival City. Once in Carnival City, he swaps Gomez's pet raptor Spike for a sabertooth ice tiger, and it chases Roxie and Gomez to the top buildings. Flipster then reveals himself, causing Roxie to summon Matt to the Multiverse. Matt decides instead of immediately chasing Flipster, to first get more information about him from the Chronicles and then they go after him but when Matt catches up with Flipster, he uses his chaos coin to swap Matt and he was removed him from the Multiverse. However, he unexpectedly swapped Matt with the previous Hatter hero, Alfred Hatter! Alfred, along with Roxie and Gomez, chase Flipster in Carnival city but he escapes.
Since Flipster loves Multiverse treasure, Alfred knows that he's heading to the pit of pirates in the Sea of Sands, where the biggest hoard of Multiverse treasure is! Once they arrive, Alfred makes a plan to ambush Flipster and use his coins against him in order to bring Matt back, despite meaning that Alfred will be trapped once again. Once the corner Flipster, he tries to use one of his Chaos Coins, but Alfred uses the cell blaster to fuse it between two pieces of treasure, thus stopping it before it can swap anything. Alfred then uses the coin used to swap him and Matt again back in Carnival City, and swaps places with Matt, bringing him back to the Multiverse. With Matt back, they chase down Flipster, and Matt gets stuck in one of tenorocs spatter traps. Matt then uses the new quantum fusion mode on the cell blaster and uses it escape the spatter trap, which also causes major damage to the Triple Sphere, infuriating Tenoroc. Matt and his team soon catch up with Flipster, and when he tries to use another chaos coin, Matt uses the cell blaster's quantum fusion mode to fuse Flipster with his own coin, causing him to go hologram and getting booked, but not before using one last coin saying "Mess with me home will ya? I'll mess with Yours"!
Meanwhile, Tenoroc is is furious that Matt had damaged his Triple Sphere, but Craw notices that something got flipped after all, and Tenoroc is very pleased, saying that "This changes everything... Everything". Matt then arrives back home only to find his parents outside, and to his shock, Matt sees that the Coronet sign backwards spells "Tenoroc".
